METHODIST SYNOD

The delegates to the Nelson; 'Methodist Synod were welcomed by the officials and members of St. John's Church at a social gathering last evening. Rev. W. Banmber occupied the chair. / After the National Anthem 'had been sung and prayer offered. Mr. A. A. ■Lucas, senior officer of .St. John's,' eoctended a hearty welcome to the visitimr ministers and laymen, and trusted that their work in Synod w child tend to the advancement of God's work in the district. _' .. .
