COAL STRIKE
CONFERENCE TO MEET TO-DAY
LITHGOW ARMS FACTORY IDLE. (Prsss Association.—Copxbight.] SYDNEY, Nov. 15. The coal conference will meet at Melbourne to-morrow. The naval authorities have decided to commandeer the ferry companies' stocks, only permitting a very limited service. The Government has also seized all coke supplies. A thousand men were put off the Lithgow Small Arms Factory to-day. All coal lumpers are now idle. * The Government -wheat ships are held up. The Newcastle Labour Council decided to support the miners if State action is not taken.
