JTOR A NIBUSONTANi The following'is an extract from Regimental Orders by Lieut.-Colonel Findlay, 'C.B., iVew Zealand Expeditionary Force, "Honours and Awards: His Majesty the King of Serbia has, with the approval of his Majesty the King, bestowed the following decoration on the undermentioned man, of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, in recognition of his distinguished service during the campaign. There are no restrictions as to the occasion on which this decoration may be worn—Gold medal for Trooper Arthur (Ray) Sc'rimg'eour, New Zealand Expeditionary Force." Gapt. .M" Galium, officer in charge of Trooper Scrimgeour's company, wrote to him, "I have jnst heard of your decoration, and of how well you earned it. Allow me to offer heartiest congratulations'." This is an "important and unique military honour. 'Trooper Scrimgeour is a son of Mi- W. Scrimcrcour, of Waimea street, formerly of Collinswood. Trooper Ecrimseour served in the Boor War, and at the outbreak of the present war was farming at Colliugwood. - His wife is at present staying with her parents, Sir and Mrs Lewis, of .'Hope.
