BOMBARDMENT OF CONSTANZA
THE' TOWN AFIRE; (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.^ (ißec. Nov. IS, 12.30 p.m.) PAR-IS, Nov. 14. The Petit Parisien says the Russian fleet twice- bombarded ~ O'onstanza on Monday, aiming at the forts- and : oil tanks. Fla/ning benzine was . spread in the streets by the wind, and drove through the city, destroying the docks, munition depots, barracks and the enemy's staff offices. The -fire lasted'two days. Officers drove the soldiers to fight the .'flames, but- the Roumanians had removed the fire engines and apparatus. The coastal and' aerial defences fought the fleet unavailing!}*. •-
