LICENSING- PROSECTJ.TTON-S. lAt the Collingwood Magistrate's Court 3lr Wyvern Wilson, S.M.. gave Jiis reserved judgment ill' the cases in which Thomas Mortimore, licensee of the 'Collingwood Hotel, was charged with selling liquor at- a place where he was not authorised to do so by his license. On .the .first charge he was convicted and "fined £lO and J3l 13s costs; on the second charge convicted ■ and fined £1 arid 19s costs. .The' third information -was. dismissed. The. case . Collingwood County Coun- . cil ,v. -J. H. Bichards. -a claim for £Q 18s;5d, rates, was adjourned.' •In the Warden's -Court an application by G-. B. Watson for a coal pros--pecting license was adjourned.
