The Note, which is firm and courteous, deals with all points whereupon, according to German diplomacy, Greece has departed from neutrality bv aiding the Entente, chiefly "by the use.ofthe Greek fleet. Itis declared that Greek neutrality has become unstable. Pro-Germans_. awaiting something decisive, took the opportunity to point out that Greece's * neutrality ' is the best course. Von Mirbaeh is afraid of his life. He never seems safe without a revolver beside his plate. Popular indignation is high because officers are compelled to resign before joining the Nationalists., The Entente 'insisted that.they obtain their pensions . ami seniority.
