AMERICAN MAILS TO THE EAST

It is reported that instructions 'have been received from Washington that American army transports' are in future to carry American mails to Manila and China. Previously much, of the mail was carried by Japanese and British boats via Vancouver. It is believed that the object is ' to avoid the censorship. Washington officials are reticent.
