RICHMOND 1 .
The final round of the Encounter Shield Competition was played on Saturday, and resulted in a win for G. Richmond-, whose score was 72 gross, less handicap 1, 7-1 net. This is the best official score put up on the links by a local -player, and heats the record put up by the same player in the third round for the Encounter Shield this season. His score on that occasion was 76 gross, less handicap 1-75 net. Richmond's score was so exceptional that the details will be of interest.
