MILITARY WEDDING
on July 7th, at .St. Mark's Church. -Wellington, a quiet military wedding was celebrated, when Driver C. J. Schwass, of the l'6th Reinforcements,' was married to Miss M. fMcFarlane, of Motueka. The bride, who (was given away by her brother-in-law, Mr N. Kitching, was attired in a neat grey cloth jfcostume, tailor made, military style, and' wore a purp-Ie velvet liat. She was attended by Miss Kitty Scott as 'bridesmaid. Corporal 'N. McFarlane acted as hest man. The bride,groom was on leave, and the honeymoon was spent among friends in the Nelson district, where they received many useful and valuable presents.
