FIERCE FIGHTING REPORTED

The High Commissioner reports:— LONDON, Aug. 4, 4.5 p.m. The Petrograd official report says that in the region of Lubechom our. detachments crossed 1 to the left of the Stokhod, taking a series of heights where they fortified' themselves on the river Stavey, a tributary to the left of the Stokhod.
