A statement was made in the Hou=e of Representatives on Saturday, bv .Mr Dickson (Parnell) that a large shipment of drapery had been received in Duned.in from fiermaiiv, via. America. The secretary of the .Master 'Drapers' Association has telegraphed to the Minister of Customs expe.-sing resentment at the statement, and asking for the fullest investigation. Mti Myers replied, stating that he had given instructions for a thorough investigation, and adding that he had now been, informed that the consignment ia question was not for a- Dunedin firm.
