Fishermen' found a, bottle containing the last message of the commander and crew of the Ll9. Commander Lowe reports that with fifteen, men on the platform and no gondola Ll9 was" going very slowly, and he was unable to save the airship. TlVhile returniri£ from England dn the jog they Were bombarded by Dutch sentinels. At the same moment the motors failed. The bottle also contained fifteen letters from the crew to their wives and children./
