For many years I have been a large user of imported Superphosphates." Basic slap and various brands of New Zealand Ft ( Ji£n. panics' mixture: but I ltA\ F NEVER HAD SUCH MARKED from any manures as I HAVE HAD THIS SEASON FROM YOUR BASIC RHOs-PH-VTE. in si"ite of wu.-so woatner <•<•'>- dilions than wo hive experienced tor manv veais. I "used a portion of yon- manure to TOP DRESS some of my CUi-aSS LAMJ and the balance I u-M-d on oats. One paddock I manured and shut up for hay and ties-..it" the drv season and general bad veal- for ixrass. \ had from th s very > old 'pasture a very good crop, wh-e I unmanuved paddocks shut up gave poor . results. I manured one paddock on which I run mv cows regularly and left the others. The PADDOCK THINK PRODUCES ABOUT 25 PER CENT MORE FEED THAN ANY OF THE ' UNMATURED PADDOCKS. Glovers came in a surprising manner although clover had not shown to any extent for some years. As well as this, TOE GRASS SEEMED TO GROW FRESHER AND TO CONTAIN MORE NOURISHMENT, as tho cow s milked better and did better when on the manured pasture. I had sufficient manure to cover half my oat crop and for the remainder I used! a Freezing Comfpany*'s special gram manure THE OATS ON WHICH 1 USED THE BASIC PHOSPHATE LEFT THE OTHER OATS FAR BEHIND, AND TC SUCH A MARKED EXTENT THAT PEOPLE ASKED ME WHAT I HAD DONE TO HALF MY CROP. I am so pleased with my success with this manure that, I think every farmer should know of its qualities, and to see this end, I' would be pleased to give every farmer further particulars and show the actual results. I can confidently recommend Rockland Basic Phosphate, and my order for the coming seasci will be about 5 tons. (Signed) W. W. Livesay. Bright-water, Feb. 9th, 1915. Messrs Bisley Bros, and Co. Nelson. Dear Sirs, —We have to advice you of our success with Rockland Basic Phosphate Manure. We purchased two tons from you, and although late in the season, applied a jport : on of it to one half of our CLOVER PADDOCK. The other half of this paddock we top--dressed with Basic Slag. The difference between the two manures was most marked, and WE HAD A REALLY WONDERFUL RESULT WITH THE BASIC PHOSPHATE. The portion manured with the Basic. Phosphate grew stronger, taller, and \h& clover "was bright green, whereas THE BASIC SLAG PORTION had a yellowish tinge, and WAS DECIDEDLY INFERIOR. We are so pleased with our success with this manure that we w-ill use large quantities during the coming season. (Signed) NEWMAN BROS. Although t, the paddock was not topdressed the following year the result was even more noticeable, which proves that BASIC PHOSPHATE IS A LASTING MANURE. j ———— Riwaka, March lltk, 1915. Messra Bisley Bros, and Co. Nelson. DeaT Sirs, —Tt affords mo much pleasure to be able to advise you of my success with the Rockland Bas : c Phosphate manure which I purchased from you last July. I used this manure on my GRAIN CROPS (OATS AND WHEAT) The paddock where this grain grew is, the poorest piece of land on my property and DURING THE FORTY YEARS T HAVE HAD THIS PLACE I HAVE NEVER HAD A CROP SO GOOD BY HALF. It is the opinion of the Farmers in this neighbourhood that my oat crop is the best in the district, and my wheat crop is exceptionally good. I HAVE TO PUT THIS SUCCESS DOWN TO YOUR BASIC PHOSPHATE. You can make use of this reference to help to make the manure known, as 1 after my success I feel it is the best f manure and the cheapest on the market. (Signed) Alex. Drummond. Motueka, Jan. 14th, 1915. Messrs Bisley Brof\ and Co. Net son. Dear. Sirs, —I have great pleasure in advising vou of the success I have had from the" Rockland Basic Phosphate which I purchased from you Lost July. I used the Majority on GRASS PADDOCKS, and I can confidently sax that DURING THE TEN YEARS I HAVE HAD THIS PROPERTY I HAVE NEVER'BAD HALF THE GRASS I l HAVE HAD THIS SEASON, a.-aough j I have stocked tbe ground a« hsavily *s | usual. The effu-ct ol your manure is ; even more surprising seeing that the sea- ; I son has been exceptionally dry and a J 1 general bad vea.r fur grass. The BASIC PHOSPHATE FORCED the \ OF CLOVER IN MY FADDOCKS ! WHERE CLOVER HAD NsT SHOWN i FOR YEARS. , I am so satisfied w:th the manure that ! I will largely increase my order for the ! coming season. I will be pleased if any i farmer wanting further particulars will , come along and see the results. (Signed) L.
