ZEPPELIN APPARENTLY HIT. LONDON", Aug. 1. One Zeppelin, after the anti-aircraft guns fired, was seen to stop, tremble and dive. The raiders used aerial torpedoes. A German official report states that Zeppelins successfully attacked London and the eastern counties. Anti-aircraft batteries and industrial, military and naval "works were shelled. Zeppelins were not damaged. _ The Press Bureau points out that either the airships had no idea of their course, 01* the report is deliberately falsified. A Norwegian steamer reports having observed several Zeppelins in the North Sea, one of; them being near Hull.
