GIFTS OF CLOTHING
The Rev. J. H. MacKenzie has received the following letter from the High Commissioner. "I have pleasure in informing you tint the four boxes of clothing shipped hy you- to mo per s.s. Rofcorua ariyed' safely in good order and condition. In accordance with the addresses on the cases they were distributed as follow :-- 2 cases to Mrs Nichol, 8,: Hugheudea Terrace, Kolvinside, Glasgow, and 2 cases to Mrs Melland, 'Kia-ora,' Ha!?. Cheshire.. Mrs Melland in.acknowledging the gift informed mo that the contents of the case she had unpacked .were very nice and useful and desired m.e t.> convey her thanks, to the donors ■ /.> v their kind gift.
