.JULY RECORD 7.57 INCHES.
The rainfall in Nelson for Julv readied the high total of 7.57 inches, the heaviest fall taking (place on the 22nd July, when 4.83 inches were recorded. The fall in July 1915 was 3.82 inches; in 1914 3-13 inches; in 1913, 3.03 inchesj in 1912, 4.18 inches. The total fall for June was 2.15 inches. against "2-18 inches in June 1915- 3.26 inches for 1914: 1.63 inches for 1913; 5.77 inches for 1912. "The total rainfall for the seven months of 1916 is 28.62 inches. The total fall >• 1915 -was 31,76 inches; in 1914 25.69 inches; in 1913 36.01' inches; in 1912 30-27 inches.
