ENORMOUS DAMAGE REPORTED
DEATH ROLL STILL CONJECTURE.(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Rec. August 1. 11.10 a.m.) NEW YORK, July 31. The explosion damage is estimated at £46,000,000. The death roll is still conjecture though it is believed it is relatively small. Many included in the first estimates escaped before the second explosion . The crews of several barges are missing. Three arrests for negligence have been ordered. The authorities are investigating tYe movements of a mysterious tug on whicli it is alleged the fire started. 1
