OVERSEAS GIFT BOXES FOR SOLDIERS

CHEAP WAY OF SENDING PRESENTS. Persons desirous of sending gift boxes to soldiers at the front will find 1 well worthy of consideration the Gift Box scheme inaugurated by the Overseas Club. These boxes may be sent to individual officers; and men, provided explicit instructions in the regimental number and full details are given. If it is not desired to nominate any particular soldier, the parcels will be sent to those reuiments which are. most in need of gifts.

The gift boxes are as follows: —

If sent to individuals, postage Is 4d extra). —I tin 'Hluntley, and Palmer's digestive biscuits, 1 tin Crosse and' Blackwell's jam, 1 tin sardines, 1 tin cocoa and milk, 1 cake, chocolate, 1 packet dried dessert fruit, 1 tin potted meat, 1 packet soup. t Gift 'Box. No. 2. 7s 6d. (No postage if a dozen or more are sent to same battalion. If sent to individuals, postage Is 4d each). —1 tin Huntley and Palmer's biscuits, 1 tin butter, 1 tin Crosse and .Blackiwell's jam, 1 tin beef, 2 tins potted meat. 1 tin Bivouac cocoa, 1 cake chocolate, 1 box beef tea cubes. 1 packet soup. Gift Box, No. 3, 10s. (No postage if a dozen or more are sent to same battalion. If sent to individual--, postage Is 4d extra). —1 tin army rat ions (beef with vegetables), tin steak and kidney 1 tin (Huntley and Palmer's biscuits, i tin sardines, 1 tin. potted meat, 1 tin cocoa and milk, 100 cigarettes. Gift Box, No. 4, ISs.—l tin digestive biscuits, 1 tin fruit cake, 1 tin coffee and milk, 1 tin beef, 1 tin butter, 1 tin marmalade, 1 cake chocolate, 1 tin potted meat. 1 tin camp pie, 1 tin sardines, 1 tin beef tea cubes, 1 tin salmon, 1 tin cocoa and 1 milk.
