Griffiths and Co. report:—Heavier supplies of apples -have been available duriag the past week, and values are sligihtly easier. Pears are in shorter supply, and values should- advance. Sydney- fruits were scarce this week, and values high. Supplies of vegetable are increasing, with prices somewhat easier, although a strong demand exists. Pears'.—Choice dessert, 6s 6d to 7s 6i' half-case; others 5s 6d to 6s. Cool stored Buerre LVil are now coming forward, and Winter Coles from Canterbury. Walnuts ui good demand, at 8d 'and ft*-lb.
