THE ABANDONED AGREEMENT. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, July 28. The fourteen' points regarding the Irish settlement on which Mr Lloyd George, Mr Redmond', and Sir Ed war/1 Carson agreed are published in- a Parliamentary paper. It contains little that was not announced in Monday's debate except the fact that a deduction' wou:-d be made from the sum to be paid by Uie Imperial Government to Ireland proportionate to the population of the excluded area. An active party in' the House of Corn : mons is endeavouring to revive the negotiations.
