Distinguished Conduct Medals have been awarded the following New Zeai landers : Sergeant B'rnie, 'lst Battery i for conspicuous gallantry on four occasions. He has done, fine work .in serving the gun and replacing emplacements under heavy fire. Rifleman* Dickey. 4jh Battalion, for conpdeuous gallantry under heavy fire. His gun. massed fire audi ordering the men under cover, he unscrewed the fuse, the flames a-etually issuing from the vent, hut he. succeeded in his plucky act. He is a Maori and has always, shown- great bravery. Sergt.-Mrijor Ibbotson of the Howitzer Battery for good work in. carrying out h's duties as section commander and as an obserw! : n- the absence of officers, who ivni: i jured.
