The Committee of the Royal Health Sccietv met on Tuesday afternoon. 31 rs Buchanan presiding. After the reading of the minutes of last meeting, a vote of deep svmpathy was passed with the family of the late Mrs Duncan, one of the first and most earnest supporters of the Societv. A letter was also read from Mr Ihincan. received about a fortnight ago, enclosing a cheque for £25. with. Mrs Duncan's "love and best wishes." A letter was received from Nurse "Wix ,asking that her annnual month's leave might begin the first week in September : it was decided that Nursa Honeyfield should be written to. asking if she would be able to take Nurse WLx's place during that time. The monthly accounts, to the amount of £lB 5s Od," were passed. Copies! of the annual report were promised fortius meeting, but could not be finished in time, and the final arrangements with regard to them were left in -the hands of the secretary. Specimens of sheets of instructions for making humanised milk, Nos. 1 and 2, were received, from Hawera. and it was decided that TOGO copies'of No. 2 and 500 of No. 1 should be ordered for distribution to mothers. N/urse Wix's report for the month was read, showing that the babies unde.Ther care were making satisfactory ..progress; there are now 394 cases on the books, of which 230 are at present under treatment. ;
