A meeting of the Wood Bombardiers was held last evening, when Mr E. S. Cresswell presided over & large attendince. A number of reports were handed in, and were considered highly satisfaclory. Final arrangements were made for the flannel dance which takes place in :,he Provincial 'Hall this evening. Miss Treacher was; elected princess of the Bombardiers' Army. Sub-committees were appointed to carry out arrangenejits for the final ceremony on Monlay. In order to pay the Army ex>enses the Bombardiers intend having a Hall for the sale of cakes, sweets and lowers at the Park on Gala Day. Contributions for this stall are solicited by idvertisement. At the picture theatres special programmes will be screened and at the School of Music a specially attractive programme will hi presented, full particulars of which will appear in a later issue. The singers will include Miss McEnoe. of 'Wellington. Mrs Rennell of Murchison, and Mr Salkeld. of Richmond, and several leading amateurs.
