In the 1911 statistics, among- the names of Protestant sects there are one or two peculiar styles which seem, lo have -escaped notice. One is somewhat interesting regarded from the .point of view of later events. It is entitled German reform, and -unfortunate has a eongregat'on of one imar. alone. There are four {adherents of the "Church of the NiixrtiUTe and' Admonition of the X/ord." three people belong to the sect of "Saved- by -Grace/' but there are only two "Simple Believers in Christ." Amon<; those who subscribe themselves as being of ho religion, four —surely ironically—declare themselves as being "Anticantarians.". ,In the ministers lists in the Registrar of Sirth, Deaths, and .Marriages in Chrstchurch there are no •fewer than thirteen Maori-naxed ministers: who belong to the Church of the "Seven Rules of Jehovah," a Maori sect that has sprung into existence.
