RETURNED SOLDIERS
(United Press Association.) WELLINGTON. July 20. The Defence Department states that the steamer Rotorua is due from Lon don at Auckland to-morrow with' 56 invalided soldiers aboard. It was originally intended that soldiers resident outside Auckland province would proceed to Wellington with the steamer, but, as the vessel will be delayed some days in Auckland, it has been decided to send soldiers for the Wellington district" and the South Island by train. , -r- , , ■■ """*,, ~~
