TO-MORROW'S SEN-D-OFF TO NEESON QUOTA.
The Nelson quota' for the Seventeenth Reinforcements will leave for Wellington to-morrow morning at 9.45, and citizens are requested by the Mayor to observe a, holiday from 9 to 30.30 a.m.. in order that the men may be given a good sendoff. The National Reserve Band will play the soldiers to the Fort, and members of the other sections of the National Reserve and also the College Cadets will parade for the occasion. Messrs H. Everett (Chairman of the YVaimea County -Council) and Mr W ljock will address the men on the «^t rf - '^ Mr Jas ' Hunt (Mayor of Kicbmond) was to have been one of the speakers, bufas he is detained in Wellington Mr asked to fill the gap, and has consented to do so.
