A preliminaTv meeting in connection ■with the Good "Citizenship department of the W.C.T.U. was held yesterday afternoon. It was deci&ed that the meetings for the promotion of good citizenship should be continued during the winter months on the second and fourth. Fridays, as in previous years. They will be field in one of the classrooms of the Baptist Schoolroom, which has been kindly lent for the purpose. The meetings mil be devoted alternately to the study of questions connected with the. war, and the principles of peace, and the discussion of other subjects 'bearing upon the duties and responsibilities of'citizenship. The necessity of cultivating the understanding and the exercise of right international relationships was specially pointed out. The.subject of the first meeting on the second Friday in June will be "What is Good' Citizenship?" Mrs Edmonds very kindly consented to act as secretary during the session.
