THEFT OF POSTAL PACKET
(United Press Association.} CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. At the Christ-church Supreme Court to-day Charles Brown, charged with the theft of a number of postal packets, that he failed to deliver and stealing scarves and other things from the.mails, appeared in uniform. His Honour said it'was a very grave matter to. suppress mails, also" purloining therefrom was bad, but he might make a good soldier. H» would order him to come up :or sentence when called on.
