CONSTITUTIONAL CONFERENCE ADVOCATED. JvONDON, May 24. The Council of t'he British Empire .League, the Duko of Devonshire presiding, resolved that the best way of finding out whether Imperial union is possible, and on what lines, would foe to hold an elective convention of the type which has been successful in. deciding all other constitutions in the Empire; and that it is desirable that the Government should take steps to hold such a convention soon after the war. .'■-'■ THE ARCHBISHOP OF CANTERBURY.
