MASONIC
LODGE VICTORY, No. 40.
Last evening, at the Masonic Hall, Collingwood street, Bro. J. L. Ching was duly installed at- W.M. of Lodge Victory, No. 40, the ceremony being performed by R.W. Bro. C. H. Mills, Provincial Grand Master, assisted by R. Wor. Bro. W. Moyes, and Wor. Bros. R. W. Stiles, M. Lightfoot, R, A. Scott, E. J. Thomas, J. A. Orsman. W. H. Short, T. Eastcott, and H. A. Hobbs. W. Bro. H. H. Johnston acted as director of ceremonies, and Bro. G. A. Edmonds was at the organ. There was a large attendance of brethren of Victory Lodge and sister lodges. The following officers were duly invested : —I.P.M., Wor. Bro. A. E. Hedges.; S.W., Bro. H. P. Stephenson ; J.W., Bro. W. Widdowsbn ;•' treasurer, R.W., Bi*o. -W. Moyes; secretary, Wor. Bro. R. W. Stiles; S.D., Bro. C- M. Whelan; J.D., 'Bro. L. Reynolds; D. of C, Wor. Bro. E. W. R-udman; chaplain, Wor, Bro. W. H. Short; organist, Bro. G. A. Edmonds.; 1.G., Bro. A. G. Shrimpton.; Tvler, Bro. C. W. Moore; S.S., Bro. HJK. Edwards; J-S-, Bros. G. J. Robertson and G. A. Edmonds; auditors, Bros H. H. Coltman and A. E. Da vies. A collection was made in aid of the Widows and" Orphans and Aged Masons' Fund. After the ceremony the brethren spent a social hour, the usual loyal and Masonic toasts being honoured.
