A SUCCESSFUL CAMPAIGN. So far 500 registrations passed tlii'ough the hands, of Mr O._G. Sidford, organiser for the Nelson District Recruiting Association. The Association is still operating and registrations continue to come in steadily. The country districts responding well, this being due in -a great measure to®the_ energies 01 the country committees working in conjunction with the central committee. Mr Sidford relates, as showing the thoroughness of the work of the canvassers that one returned soldier forded a river w a 's deep in order to interview an individual Others report having been compelled to walk in the back blocks sometimes -oi [miles, as it was impossible to ride or cycle, in order to reach their objective.
