NOTIONAL STRIKE THREATENED
VOTING 162, TO 83.
The High Commissioner reports : The Miners' Federation by 162 to 83 decided in favour of a' national strike in the event "of compulsory service being enforced. The miners throughout the country were balloted before 1 adopting this course.
