VIOLENT FIGHTING ON HERZEGOVINTAX FRONT., CETTINJE, Jan. 12. A communique states that a most violent, battle is ragina on the Herzegovinian front. The Austriaus brought up 23 battalions and 80 guns. The enemy are fiercely, attacking Mount Lovchen, and- constantly using gas. i The Montenegrins failed to hold an important position at Kuk. The enemy ware driven back near JBerane with:"heavy losses. FAT.T, DUE TO LACK OF AMMUNITION . CAPITAL TRANSFERRED. Rec. Jan. 13, 8.40 a.m.) ROME, Jan. 12. The fall of Lovtchen was dues to lack of ammunition. As Lovtchen commanded Cettigne, the capital has been "transferred to'Ppdgoritza. TWENTY-SIX GUNS CAPTURED. (Rec. Jan. 13, 11 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, Jan* 12. An Austrian communique says we captured 26 guns at Lovtehen AUSTRIAN CLAIMS. AMSTERDAM, Jan. 12. An Austrian communique claims the capture of Mount I>ovchen and Berane.
