COLONEL AYLMER'S FORGE DELAYED

Mr Chamberlain in the House of Commons read a cable- stating that owing, to the weather conditions in Mesopotamia and the necessitv for despatching wounded hy river," Colonel Aylmer's force was still "halted on the 10th. The enemy had been located six miles eastward* of Kut-el-Amara.
