A bridge was opened over the Savenear Belgrade on Friday, re-establish-ing- railway communication. t. # lt is claimed that Belgrade is normal; and that most of the inhabitants have returned. THE DARDANELLES. , TURKISH REPORT. (Rec. Jan. 3. 1.55 p.m.) VIENNA. Jan. 2. A Turkish communique- states :—Our 'batteries at the Narrows bombarded the landing place at Sedd-ul-Bahr. The French warship Suffren, covered by fivet torpedo boats, replied unsuccessfully.
