THE ABANDONED POSITIONS.

LONDON, Jan. .1. A German wireless message states that a correspondent of the "Lpkalanzeiger" visited the abandoned, camps at Anafarta and the depots at Kemik li Liman. There were everywhere signs of a hurried retreat, many unburied dead soldiers being seen, and aQso .enormous quantities of preserved meat, bacon, flour and rubber tyres. Suvla Bay was a.wonderful picture. There were four stranded British transports there, and the depots were filled to the ceilings with stores. The Turks counting the booty are binding ammunition which was thrown into the water.

THE ! ENEMY SURPRISED.
