MENINGITIS CASE
(United Press AssociatxON.) \ DANNEVIRKE, This Day. In reference to the death of Private Robinson at the Dannevirko Hospital, after the Minister of Defence had made a statement to a deputation, in Wellington "That £he Dannevirke case was certainly not cerebrospinal meningitis," \Dr. McCallan, Medical Superintendent of the hospital wired him for his authority tor making the statement, and received th« following reply: "Sorry to say I was ( tinder a misapprehension about the Dannevirke case. It had been reported to. me that it was not one of cexeoro spinal: meningitis."
