SIR. LAN HAMILTON'S REPORT. (Press Association.—Copx&iqht.) (Rec. Aug. 12, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 11. The Press Bureau states that General Sir lan. Hamilton, reports that severe [fighting continued yesterday at Gallipoli, mainly at Anzac and the northern zone. The; positions, occupied were slightly varied in places, but the general result is that the area held at Anzac has been nearly trebled, owing, chiefly, to the gallantry and dash of the Australian and Ndw Zealand Army corps. There is no further progress to the north, but troops inflicted heavy losses. It. js reported that, the French battleship .St. Louis has put out of action five but of six guns in the Asiatic batteries. ANOTHER ZEPPELIN DKTAOYED BY BRITISH AND FRENCH AVIATORS. (Rec. Aug. 12, 2.15 p.m.) PARIS, Aug. 11. A British aviator commenced an attack o n a Zeppelin at Dunkirk on Tuesday and seriously damaged her. French aviators completed the destruction. RODMAN! A] !
