In the .Court of Appeal ■tb-d#y, argument was heard upon- a case 1 Mated: by Mr Justice' Chapman, Tlje appeal was in the criminal case of- Ilex. v. Peter Francis Bogan. Began, who was 'an atHJendlant at (the Stoke BoysV Training Farm, was tried at .the June sittings of the- Supreme. Court at Nelson on three charges of indecent assault, .upon boys under Ms care. He was_conviofced on one charge. Appeal was made on the ground that inadmissible evidence had been adtmitted, and that the 'prisoner had therefore been wrongly convicted'. Argument was concluded, and ■ judgment wa® reserved.-
