WELLINGTON, This Day. Speaking at the Agricultural and Pastoral .Societies Conference which opened to-day .the Premier congratulated the members on the succersful season experienced by tho farming industry. Tu spite of tho drought thpi output of tho country had been ■ maintained'.tip to 31st March hist, the exports from Now Zealand were valued at £27.000,000, 87 per cent having come from tha land. Next season' ho believed there would be more than, enough for our own requirements.- 0l producer -would get a fair price, and-tho-consumer would not pay as much for the wheat and flour as lately.
