With reference t-o the .hundred) doctors that the New Zealand Government has been asked by the Imperial authorities to supply, tlie Minister of Public Health, states that owing to the number of medical officers that will be ireauiredi for pur own reinforcements during the next twelve'months, and the that would be occasioned in fch.& Dominion by sending many more doctors to the front, he as unable, except under very special circumstances, to recommend the Minister of Defence to sanction applications from the Dominion to join the Royal Army Medical Corps in England.
