TRENTHAM CAMP
i I TO BE DIVIDED AND MOVED, j (United Press Association.) WELLINGTON", July 8. "The Government has decided to move Tremtham Camp," said the Prime Minister after the conclusion of a caucus of the Government party held' to-night. "A commencement will be made first tiling to-morrow morning. The camp i® going to be divided, but I cannot say yet where the new camps will be." The Prime Minister added that the decision pf the Government in this matter had been come to after the receipt of the report of a committee of experts, military and medical, who had •been asked to investigate the situation. The committee had recommended' the Government to move the camp, and the recommendation was going to be given j effect to at once. j ROYAL COMMISSION OF INQUIRY. . ; WELLINGTON, July 8. The Prime Minister announced tonight that the following gentlemen had been appointed members of the: Royal : Commission of inquiry which is to con- | duct an investigation with (regard to j the sickness and general conduct of a>fj fairs at. Trentham Camp : j Mr Justice Hosking. i Mr William Ferguson (engineer to | the Wellington Gas Company). ; Dr A. A. Martin, of Palmerston N.) i (recently returned from the front).
