Mr. E. R. N'eale, honorary secretary of tho Nelson Association, was last evening presented by the members of the visiting Thorndon cricket team with a fountain pen, in recognition of his services m arranging and carrying through their tour of the district. The presentation was made by Mr. B. L. Salmon, manager of the team'. . A Press cable from Sydney states that Mr A. A. Winslow. United States Con-sul-General' to New Zealand, arrived oy the Ventura.
