SYDNEY, March 31. At the pedigree cattle sales in connection with'the Show thd .yalues realised were satisfactory. lii Shorthorn bulls. Mr Dundas' Duke of Dei*rimut the Fifth, which had taken, -first prizes brought '460 guineas. On behalf of Mi" R.- McLeajj, of Hawke's Bay, two were sold at 210 guineas and 250 guineas, and seven others ranged from 160 guineas to 65 guineas. On behalf of Messrs William Nixon, of Canterbury, Lovelock, of< Palmeretoh', and Wright, of Windermere, prices ranged from 100 guineas to 25 guinea's., ' . (Rec. 9.20 a.m.) ; SYDNEY, This Day. : The Governor-General, speaking at the Show, said that owing: to tho drought fodder was almost exhausted, which meant a widespread calamity in regard to stock.
