Sir, —I road with interest <a letter in last evening's "Mail" on _the above subject, signed "A "Visitor. 1 heartily agree with your correspondent that the present is a. time for earnest, united intercession, and that "more things are wrought I>\* prayer than this world dreams of and i'f Christians more fully realised the great crisis our Empire is now passing through larger immbeis would make time to meet in intercession. Your correspondent cannot read the daily papers very carefully, otherwise he would have observed that Nelson is not so far behind other places., and would have learned that public intercessory services are held in the Nelson Baptist Chu:ch on Sundav mornings at 7 a.m., and also at the Cathedral on Wednesday and Friday afternoons at 5 p.m. I am, etc., W.
