IN THE BALTIC
GERMAN CRUISER SUNK,
PETROGRAU, Dec. 18.
The German, cruiser Freidrich Carl was sunk during a sortie in the Baltic. Twothirds of the crew perished ,and 200 were rescued.
(The Freidrich Carl was of 9000 tons displacement, and her armament consisted of four 8.2-inch and ten 5.9-inch guns.)
