MAHAICLUB. ••Pennant" and "Shield" teams played a came on tho Maitai green on Saturday afternoon, the former •winning by 3 points. Members arc reminded that names are being called for tho Saturday "Feathers" competition. ; - WEDNESDAY INTER-CLUB MATCHES. The Nelson and Maitai Clubs have arranged to plnv a four-rink match on alternate Wednesdays and on alternate o-reens. The first'game is arranged for tho Nelson green for Wednesday next. Tho President of the Nelson Club (Mr T. A. H. Field) offers a trophy for this series of matches, and was thanked by botli clubs for his generosity. It has been arranged: that tho series shall continue to tho-eud of March, and • in the event of ah even number otwins, a deciding match to be played.
