Lockhart was four up at the turn and then dormy two ; but Whitton won the last two; squaring subsequently after a half at the nineteenth, and lost the twentieth. Michael Scott went out in 36. and turned with three up. Herreshoff, with four down arid five to play, worn the next four holes, but his approach to the last hole was too strong, and Scott sent dow a four to a five and won.
