FARMER SHOOTS HIMSELF. (Unitbd Press Association.) INVERCARGTLL. May. 5. On Mondav evening the body of a man named William Adie, a well-known resident of Otautau, was found beside a havstack with a gun alongside. There was a wound on the deceased's head. Adie was last seen adive on Thursday, when he was ploughing. No notice his absence was taken, but lato last ni"ht the bedv was discovered. A letter found in the house clearly showed that it was the deceased's intention to commit suicide. YOUNG MAN TAKES POISON. £EW PLYMOUTH, Slay 4.
