RARATONGA
GOVERNOR'S APPROACHING VISIT. (Unitbp Pbess Association.) WELLINGTON,* May 4. Advice has been received by Dr. Pomare to the effect that the natives of Raratonga are looking forward with keen interest to the approaching visit of the Governor. Dr. Pomare leaves Auckland in the Tutanekai on Saturday week, and the Governor leaves Wellington by the vvillochra on the 22nd. The party will stav at Raratonga for several days, and will then proceed to the various islands of the <*roup, returning to Raratonga in time to"connect with the Moana, which sails for -ew Zealand on 11th June.
